Saratta Chuengsatiansup, known online as “Uninspired by Current Events” is a digital artist known in the online space in Thailand. With a surrealist style offering an almost realtime commentary on day-to-day politics and current  events, often with a humorous and satirical twist.
With his background in communication arts, Saratta’s work operates between art and visual communication, most of the time heavily embracing the fleeting nature of online conversations. While a succinct commentary at the time of posting, the references and symbols quickly make less sense over time, leaving only the surreal properties remaining.
